Description
This is a game used/worn 2007-2011 Tyler Roeszler Cornell Big Red hockey jersey. I bought this jersey as part of a large equipment purchase fromCornell a few years ago. As I looked through the rack of game worn jerseys, most of them had the NOB removed due to NCAA rules. They missed taking
the names off two of the jerseys so I bought them immediately. The other Cornell jersey with the NOB is also listed here on eBay. For a white jersey, it
shows good use with numerous stick marks. Derek's career is listed below.

Senior Season - 2010-11
Roeszler capped his Cornell career with his finest season offensively, setting career highs in each category as he scored 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points in 32 games. Roeszler finished third on the team in scoring for the season and joined fellow senior Joe Devin as the only two players in double digits in goals on the year. He had his best game offensively on Jan. 22 against Colgate, scoring a hat trick and adding an assist for his first career four-point night. Roeszler got off to a slow start to the season, scoring a goal against RIT on Oct. 30 for the only point through the first seven games, but slowly began building. He posted a goal in back-to-back contests on Nov. 27 against Colgate and Dec. 3 against Alabama-Huntsville to go into the semester break with three points on three goals. Upon returning from the break, he turned on the production, beginning with back-to-back two-point games on Jan. 8 at Quinnipiac and Jan. 14 against Rensselaer. Beginning with the Jan. 8 contest against the Bobcats, Roeszler would not go two consecutive games without a point the rest of the season. He had a two-point night on Feb. 4 against Clarkson, and added a pair of goals on Feb. 19 against Dartmouth on Senior Night. He finished the season strong as well, scoring four points on four assists during the post-season, including adding a pair of assists in game one of the ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series against Quinnipiac.
Junior Season - 2009-10
Roeszler had his most productive season in a Cornell uniform as a junior, appearing in 28 games and scoring career highs in goals and assists. He tallied five goals and had seven assists on the season while picking up just four minutes in penalties and was a +6 on the season. Roeszler scored an assist in his second game of the season against Dartmouth, then followed that up with another assist the next night against Harvard. He scored his first goal of the season on Feb. 5 against Quinnipiac, then picked up another a week later in a win against Brown. He scored a goal in back-to-back games against Colgate on Feb. 16 and again on Feb. 19 against Harvard, with the goal against the Crimson serving as the game-winner. He closed out the year with a goal in the NCAA tournament game against New Hampshire.
Sophomore Season - 2008-09
Roeszler picked up his first letter after appearing in 20 games as a sophomore, scoring seven points on a goal and six assists. The goal, the first of his career, came as the game-winner against Dartmouth on Nov. 22. In that game, he also posted his first career multi-point game, assisting on Michael Kennedy's power play goal to open the scoring. He later added another multi-point game on his first career two-assist game on Jan. 4 at Massachusetts. After appearing in only nine games as a freshman, he equaled that number by appearing each of the Big Red's first nine games.
Freshman Season - 2007-08
Roeszler struggled with injuries during his freshman season and was limited to just nine games in the lineup. He picked up his first career point in the Big Red's loss at Union on Jan. 12, picking up an assist on a goal by Doug Krantz. Roeszler made his collegiate debut on Nov. 2 in the Big Red's home opener against Princeton. He played in four straight games in mid-January, starting that streak in the win at Rensselaer on Jan. 11 and running through the loss to Clarkson at Lynah Rink on Jan. 20.
Before Cornell
Roeszler won the Western Ontario Hockey League scoring title in his last season at Chatham, tallying 113 points during the regular season. He played in 58 games on the year, scoring 45 goals and adding in 83 assists for 128 points, 15 of them coming in the Maroons' 10 playoff games.
