Vintage 1950s Beloit College Bucs Game Worn Basketball Jersey and Sweater - RARE

For your consideration is an incredibly rare Beloit College basketball jersey and letter sweater that dates to the 1950s. The player is unknown, though access to a few yearbooks from the era will quickly solve that mystery. In a nutshell, both items are in remarkable shape for their age and all-original!
The jersey is missing a manufacturer's tag, but was most likely made by Rawlings. The inside tail of the shirt features a size tag (38), a distributor's tag (Bailey and Himes Athletic Equipment, Champaign IL), and a dry cleaning tag that is similar to the type Rawlings would place on their shirts. All letters and numbers are sewn on in two-layer tackle twill, and all are still firmly sewn onto the shirt. There are no rips, holes or tears. The only condition issue with the jersey is a few discoloration spots at the bottom of the front and back (a purplish color), which is unfortunately seen fairly often with darker vintage durene fabrics. The shirt measures approx. 18 inches across from pit to pit, and approx. 28 inches in length from the top of shoulder strap to the bottom hem.
The matching wool sweater is virtually unimprovable. Manufactured by Lincoln Textiles Inc., it is made of 100% wool. Amazingly, there's not a single moth hole to be found! All of the original six buttons remain on the front, and the "B" baskwtball letter is in excellent shape. The sleeve cuffs are still supple and show little to no wear, leading me to believe this sweater wasn't worn much at all. It measures approx. 19 inches across from pit to pit, and approx. 27 inches in length from shoulder to bottom.
